A Sacred Space Honoring
York County Legacies
South Hill Hebrew Cemetery stands as a testament to the enduring strength of our community. For over a century, we have provided a sacred space where generations of families find peace and continuity.
Our commitment to preserving Jewish traditions ensures that every burial and memorial honors the unique legacy of those who came before us. We still believe in providing that personal touch.
We provide a dignified and peaceful environment for Jewish, as well as Interfaith burials and memorials, preserving centuries-old traditions with respect and care.
With over a century of tradition, the South Hill Hebrew Cemetery Board of Directors continue to pay tribute to loved ones that no longer with us. We are committed to ensuring continued peace of mind to their families that those resting in our cemetery will be cared for eternally.
Planning your cemetery needs in advance will help ensure that your wishes are fulfilled. And protect your loved ones, so they do not have to deal with the stress of responsibility to make those arrangements during their grief.

Perpetual Care
We maintain the cemetery grounds with meticulous care, so the sacred space remains clean and accessible for generations to come.
Our recent projects include: construction of a new section, paved drive & turnaround; repair part of the front stone wall, power washing headstones & walkways, repair wrought iron sign & gates, new chain link fence.
Advanced Planning
Advanced planning of your burial involves making end-of-life cemetery and funeral arrangements in advance. It allows you to record your exact preferences, lock in costs, and ease emotional and financial burdens on grieving loved ones. Perhaps most important, it provides peace of mind for you and your family.
South Hill Hebrew Cemetery originally only provided traditional Jewish burials. Today, in keeping with modern family dynamics, we also accommodate interfaith burials, as well as cremation burials.
